What's the relationship between Sew News the print magazine and this Sew News Web site? Sew News is an international print magazine for sewing enthusiasts. It is published eight times a year and available by subscription or on newsstands. This Web site is provided as a free service by Sew News magazine. Articles and information featured on this site may have been published in the print magazine. Occasionally, Web-only special offers may be shared on this site.

What is the Sew News Web site's privacy policy?
The CK Media Privacy Policy is available here. We do not record your e-mail address unless you sign up for the e-Update newsletter. How far back do your "Sewing Q&A" and "Making Connections" archives go?
Both Sewing Q&A and Making Connections are ongoing archives of questions answered in the print edition of Sew News. The Sewing Q&A archive includes entries from the January 2000 to current issues; the Making Connections archive includes entries from the past two years.
Will my Sewing Q&A or Making Connections questions be answered personally?
We regret that we cannot answer your individual sewing and source questions. However, all Sewing Q&A questions are forwarded to Senior Editor Marla Stefanelli and all Making Connections questions are forwarded to columnist Janet Klaer. Those of general interest will be answered in Sew News and archived on this site.

What is "Sew 'N' Go"?
Sew 'N' Go is the name of a series of sewing-related tours to various destinations created and hosted by Sew News editor Linda Griepentrog and other Sew News staff. Tour locations vary from year to year, but have included the Denver area, London, the Great Lakes area, Hong Kong, New England, the Pacific Northwest and the San Francisco Area. What is "Sew News: The Fashion Collection"?
Sew News: The Fashion Collection is a women's fashion pattern collection jointly created by Sew News and The McCall Pattern Co. with the Sew News reader in mind. A new collection of four patterns is introduced each spring and fall, and each collection is featured both in Sew News and the McCall's pattern book. Each season, Sew News offers its readers one pattern free, and the other three are offered at a substantial discount. How does Sew News choose its articles and projects?
Sew News articles and projects are selected by the editorial staff during a monthly review process six or more months before publication.
